CMC Makeup School, located in California and Texas, employs instructors who are widely respected for their achievements as freelance makeup artists. Its instructors have worked with Playboy playmates, reality show personalities, and fitness champions and have toured with P!NK, Janet Jackson, Cher, and Tina Turner. Their work has also appeared in print and television ad campaigns for companies such as Famous Footwear, Game Stop, American Airlines, and Home Depot.

CMC Makeup School is not a cosmetology school or a training program that involves nothing more than sitting in a lecture hall each day. The school provides professional makeup-artist certification programs designed to give students the training they need to begin careers as makeup artists in seven days or less. Its classes have a maximum of six students and feature two instructors. Hands-on practice forms a key component of every lesson, and students are given many opportunities to ask questions.

CMC Makeup School offers courses covering topics such as beauty and glamour makeup, fashion makeup, airbrush makeup, editorial makeup, and special effects makeup, as well as hairstyling techniques and updos for makeup artists.
